We have willow by products, these are disposed of in bulk.
We manufacture many hundreds of thousands of cricket bat blades per annum which leaves us with thousands of tonnes of by products that have many uses. The wood is free from any preservatives, paints, plastic and metal. It is virgin wood that has received no treatment or contamination whatsoever. The moisture content can range from 20% to 55% depending on the size of wood and time of year it is processed, we do have a large area in the open for storage. We are always looking for new ideas for this product so please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in large quantities.
Bark Bark – from the outside of the tree. Length of all bark is 711mm or 28 inches long, width varies from narrow slithers to around 6 inches in winter. In summer width can be up to 1.5 metres. It makes an ideal mulch when chipped.
Clean Off Cuts Thin, clean off cuts from the circular saw process. All are 711 mm or 28 inches long and are very clean. Thickness can vary approximately from 2 mm to 100 mm, with some pieces larger and some smaller. Again these produce a good chip with the right machine.
Larger sections for Chipping or Firewood Larger sections of wood up to 711 mm or 28 inches in length with diameters of between 3 inches to 18 inches, with some pieces larger and some smaller. It makes good firewood for woodburners but also is very suitable for chipping to use as mulch or as bio fuel for wood burning boilers and power stations.
