Founded in 1894, JS Wright & Sons has a long, rich history of supplying customers with the highest quality English Cricket Bat Willow. In that time, we have become world-renowned for the quality of our grading. Jeremy, who has graded more than seven million clefts during his 37 years at the company, presides over every cleft that leaves us, ensuring that they are all graded fairly and accurately.
Each winter, JS Wright & Sons plants upwards of 30,000 trees, to ensure a sustainable supply of trees for the future. We then maintain good number of those trees as carefully as possible, maximising both the value of the trees and the quality of the clefts that are produced.
We take care in every aspect of the planting, growing and felling processes, something which sets us aside from others.
Going the extra mile…as standard
Unlike some of the other companies in our industry, J.S. Wright & Sons boast a genuine interest in ensuring that clients get the best deal possible. As well as paying top prices for trees at maturity, we also clear any dead, diseased or damaged trees from site without charge.
Aside from planting the very best willow sets and providing a comprehensive and hassle-free felling service, we also provide maintenance on all contracted trees, including trimming to ensure they maintain their quality.
